SIX things to focus on if you are a woman over 30 starting a fitness journey
Many women over 30 do too much of the following things when they are starting on a fitness journey:
❌Too much, too soon
❌Too little, for too long
❌Too much cardio
❌Too little strength training
❌Too little protein
❌Too little carbs
❌Too much restriction
❌Too many fads (and jumping between multiple in a year)
❌Too little consistency and
❌Throwing in the towel too quickly.
Women over 30 need to focus on the following ⭐️SIX ⭐️things when starting:👇🏻
✅Figuring out their baseline calories for nourishment, energy, vitality, and recovery from their workouts. Then making adjustments after consistently sticking to that.
✅Focusing on strength training and getting progressively stronger week on week while consistently lifting a minimum of 3 times a week.
✅Focusing on increasing overall daily activity. Cut the boot camp classes and running down to a minimum. Drive the step count up, take the stairs, ramp up the activity with your family, and perform short, intense HIIT sessions.
✅Eat quality, lean, complete protein multiple times a day. Hitting your protein requirements makes your hair, skin, and nails better, but it also helps you recover from your workouts, increases your metabolism, and satisfies your hunger.
✅Work on their relationship with food, body, and the scale.
✅Focus on improving and strengthening stress management techniques, learn how to de-regulate their system, and improve the quality of their sleep.
