Women should know their way around a barbell

Here’s why:

• Gain confidence through building strength and challenging yourself,

• Improve your self-esteem through growing muscle,

• Grow a bangin' body by speeding up your metabolism and,

• Set yourself up for long-term metabolic and bone health. 🔥

Yet most women shy away from barbells. In my experience, they are intimidated, afraid of getting injured, or believe if they wrap their hands around the bar, they will miraculously become she-hulk. 🤦🏻‍♀️

So instead, they do running, yoga, barre, take spin class, jump around at Barry’s Bootcamp and maybe do the occasional "play with light dumbbells" session at the gym.👀

These women seem perplexed about why they don’t have the lean, athletic, feminine body they yearn for, AKA “being toned.” Despite being consistent with the activities above and munching salad in their spare time, this is despite being consistent.

What’s missing for these women? 🤷🏻‍♀️👇🏻

IRON ... and usually enough protein and enough food. But that’s a post for another time. 🥩

While I am blessed to coach and inspire many women worldwide who appreciate and engage in regular strength training, I'm not ignorant that there are still many myths and misunderstandings surrounding women and heavy weight training.😢

Maybe I've convinced you. Perhaps now, you're thinking you're going to toss your three-pound weights, hop off the elliptical, and give this whole strength thing a shot.🙌🏻

My TOP TIP for those who want to start – learn how to move your body well, then progressively add load, week on week. 👏🏻

⭐️STAY TUNED⭐️ for my website launch. You will be able to purchase my 💪🏻COMPOUND CLASS💪🏻 webinar series.

I will be covering SEVEN movements you need to know your way around to become strong, fit and toned! 🙌🏻

I can’t wait to be able to extend my reach to more women real soon! ❤️
